Crestwood Homes for Sale
Crestwood is a small vintage Las Vegas neighborhood dating to the city’s postwar housing boom. The first Crestwood Homes tract was platted in 1948, and Phil Shipley and Associates opened two Crestwood model homes to the public on January 30, 1949. Original advertising promoted the development as FHA- and GI-approved, with GI down payments starting at $750. Development continued into the early 1950s. Today, the original residential core is concentrated primarily along Ballard Drive, Peyton Drive and Houston Drive.
The broader Crestwood Neighborhood Association area extends from Ballard Drive south to Oakey Boulevard and from 17th Street east to Eastern Avenue. Its central location places Crestwood between Downtown Las Vegas and the city’s eastern vintage neighborhoods, just south of Charleston Boulevard.
