Marycrest District Homes for Sale

Marycrest is one of central Las Vegas’ distinctive vintage residential neighborhoods, with the original Marycrest Estates subdivision dating to 1954. Known for its custom-built homes, generous lots and varied architectural styles, Marycrest attracted several prominent Las Vegas families and personalities, including the Marnells, Foleys, Tiburtis, Greenspuns and Liberace. Unlike developments built from a limited selection of model homes, many of the original Marycrest homes were individually designed.

Located near Maryland Parkway and Oakey Boulevard, the original Marycrest subdivision is part of a larger area commonly referred to as the Marycrest District, which includes several neighboring mid-century residential developments. The distinction is important because the original subdivision and the broader district do not have identical boundaries. A 1954 Marycrest Estates subdivision plat preserved by UNLV Special Collections documents the neighborhood’s early development.
