Mindy Kaling Strikes Again – but Craig Fergeson has the right answer at 0:48 and from 3:10 to the end.
Fall Colors:
I was just struck by the sudden splash of color I stumbled onto in McNeil. The fall colors are one of the few things I miss about the midwest and east coasst.
Most of the trees in Las Vegas stay green year round. The mulberries lose their leaves but don’t get colorful in the process.
If you spot some more great fall color in the trees….send me a picture and we’ll publish them.

You know, as Steinbeck points out in “East of Eden,” virtue is to be had by overcoming temptation. That means that Las Vegas, with more temptation than any other city in America, must surely be the most virtuous city in America, because most of us do not, in fact, succumb to those temptations, but rather simply enjoy the fact that they’re here. And that, of course, means that Craig is correct in his depiction of Las Vegas as “spiritually uplifting.”
Not bad, eh?
As one who’s lived here all her life, I think Las Vegas is FABULOUS and can be spiritually uplifting as well as the most FUN place I’ve ever been. I have traveled to many other cities and enjoyed every trip or vacation but every time I was happiest when I returned HOME.
VIVA LAS VEGAS! MaryJoy
