Today’s Pattern #42 is from “The Ed Shed” which is the headquarters of The Clark County School District. Yes, the Ed Shed is really it’s nickname among the employees and teachers.
You’ll find it on Flamingo Avenue between Eastern and Pecos.
Due to It’s location and visibility, it’s probably the most prominent example of the folded roof design that we see in Paradise Palms, on Maria Elena Drive, and a few examples in the Alta Rancho Historic District.
I highly recommend going over there sometime and just walking around under the folded roof line. It’s really a classic.
You’ll especially like the hanging inverted pyramid chandeliers.
