Friday’s 11 hour rain couldn’t have happened on a worse day for me, as I was in and out of the car about 40 times. My shoes and socks were soaked, and talk about bad hair.
But I did capture this shot of some of the stratosphere just shortly after dusk.
Last Monday Morning, about 40 of the most active downtown leaders and residents gathered for the dedication ceremony for the St. Louis Avenue Beautification Project. We also unveiled the monuments signs for the Southridge and Beverly Green Historic Neighborhoods.
One of the other great Mid Mod buildings on the UNLV campus is The Flora Dungan Humanities Building. We grabbed a couple of shots of it while at the Maude Frasier Hall protest rally last Wednesday.
