Pattern 22 – A Very Simple Design

A square in a square is about as simple as it can be, but it’s elegant and crisp, and doesn’t play with your mind.

Actually, it does play with my mind, because it’s the pattern I frequently doodle when bored. This is a real doodle from a piece of paper on my desk. I’ve never been artistic, as you can see. That’s why I revere all artistic people.

From Francisco Park, which was built in 4 very different neighborhoods by PARDEE HOMES, who’s still in business today, except now they build stuff that look like every other builder’s stuff. All of their artistic people retired.
