Friends Of Classic Las Vegas Holiday Party and Meeting
Special guest historian Mark Hall Patton from the Clark County Museum will be discussing his project to determine the origins of the street names of Vintage Vegas (no not the “tumbling turkey” names of the suburbs which are created by throwing words into a hat and pulling them out randomly), but names like Cambell, and Griffith and Bracken, and Lauri, and Gilmore and Pinto and Bannie.
We’ve been asked not to blog the address, so if you’d like to attend, just contact me, or Lynn Zook.
Downtown Neighbors Holiday Meet and Greet Cocktail Party
Sponsored by the West Huntridge Neighborhood Association, Thursday December 11, 6 to 8 pm at PT’s Pub on Sahara at 6th, across from Eureka. All are welcome. It’s no host, but a great way to meet a lot of downtowners who are involved in all kinds of things.
VeryVintageVegas Readers MEET AND GREET
Thursday December 18th from 6 to 8 pm.
I’m inviting all of you to stop in at the new Frankie’s Tiki Room on Charleston at Shadow Lane. The whole VVV gang will be there, and we’re hoping you stop in and have some Hawaiian Pizza with us. It’s a no host bar, but I’m buying the pizza.
