But Was The Custard Good? Defend Our Historic Downtown Neighborhoods

The beloved Luv-It Frozen Custard stand on Oakey at Las Vegas Boulevard has been a iconic local’s secret for years. Craig Ferguson told Mindy Kaling of “The Office” to go there during her trip to Las Vegas. We love good publicity, but no one told her it’s right on the edge of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood. Instead she made it the butt of her joke.

Mindy liked the custard, but trashed Downtown Las Vegas on national late night television. I’m sure Mayor Goodman will be sending a letter. She called it the “most dangerous and sketchiest neighborhood – ever”.
